The Easton Board of Health will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at 136 Elm Street, 1^st Floor, North Easton, MA in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room which will include a public hearing on the proposed regulation entitled “Containment and Prevention of Mosquito-Borne Illness” which is being proposed under the authority of M.G.L. Ch.111§ 31.  The purpose of this proposed regulation is to protect the public health of the general public in the Town of Easton by providing the Board of Health with the authority to issue Orders to protect the public from actual threats of “Mosquito-Borne Illnesses”.
