The Ames Free Library has changed its hours due to budgetary constraints.
The library's new hours are:
Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Sundays and holidays.
In addition to fewer hours, the library has cancelled some of the least-used magazine subscriptions and will not be purchasing as many multiple copies of popular books or movies.
