Easton State Rep Debate Postponed
The debate between 11th Plymouth District candidates Claire Cronin and Dan Murphy scheduled to air on ECAT will be rescheduled for a time to be determined.
The 11th Plymouth District State Representative debate scheduled for Tuesday Night on Easton Community Access Television between Democratic candidate Claire Cronin and Republican candidate Dan Murphy will be postponed to a time to be determined.
Citing a serious health emergency in her family, Cronin announced that she would not be attending the event.
"Claire Cronin will be unable to participate in tomorrow’s debate due to a serious health emergency in her family," campaign spokesperson Caroline Cruise said in a statement Monday. "She appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time."
Cruise said Cronin tentatively plans to attend a forum Monday night held in front of a live audience and hosted by the Brockton Interfaith Community.
The 11th Plymouth District is made up of Precincts 1-5 in Easton and all of Ward 1, Ward 3-D, Ward 7-C and 7-D in Brockton. Both Murphy and Cronin are residents of Easton.
Patch will provide readers with updates regarding the debate's rescheduling.
