If you've been to the Ames Free Library lately, you've probably noticed a great deal of construction. The above photo was taken Tuesday morning.

The library is in the process of replacing the roof on the children's wing of the library. The project is being funded by $70,000 from Community Preservation Funds (voted on at last Spring's Annual Town Meeting), a $70,000 state grant, and private donations.
