AROUND TOWN: School Walkways Cleared
Although school was closed Monday, most of the walkways to and around Easton's schools have been cleared.
In the midst of clearing Easton's roads while the Blizzard of 2013 dumped two feet of snow on the Shovel Town, Department of Public Works crews also focused on clearing walkways near public buildings, according to an update from Sunday night.
Although there is no school Monday, walkways leading to the schools are mostly cleared. The pictured walkway leads up Lothrop Street towards Oliver Ames High School and was taken Monday morning.
While walkways along school roads and parking lots are cleared, the newly constructed walking path connecting Easton Middle School, Olmsted Richardson, Parkview and Lothrop Street has not been cleared.
