Best of Patch Reader's Choice: Ice Cream
Where do you get ice cream?
It's getting to be that time of year when the weather is hot and you just can't resist a tasty treat every now and then.
That's right - it's ice cream season.
And, this week, we want to know where you go when you take the family out for a treat (or maybe you just want to treat yourself.)
Here is a list of some area ice cream spots. For this week, we included some spots in nearby towns:
- Crescent Ridge Dairy (Sharon)
- Hilliards House of Candy
- Sweet N Crafty (Mansfield)
- Cold Stone (Mansfield)
- Daddy's Dairy (Stoughton)
Voting will be open this entire week and will close at 9 a.m. Friday. We will officially announce a winner at noon on Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, positive comments on this article and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

We are a Crescent Ridge family, but you may find that many folks go to that miniature golf place on 138 for ice cream.

The Vanilla Chunky Chip at Hilliards is the best! The chocolate is the most important part for me and of course Hilliards House of Candy are chocolate experts. I love the small town feel of the ice cream parlor too.

Hey Thomas, Crescent Ridge has bliss make their ice cream, and as far as their milk it's made & bottled by Garelick farms. the only thing that's real are the cows, (and they rent them). Also richardsons never got banned from the dairy industry. Ridge is!

Pass that email on to the family of the woman who died from their product. They can post whatever they want, and readers can choose to believe it, I just know I won't be getting any products from them. Also don't people wonder why they are banned from the dairy buisness ? It's pretty scary.

Thomas you should really relax! It is my choice not to go there. I don't agree with the way they do business, and lie to customers. But again thank you for coping & pasting another link! I'll be sure to check it out!

I think its awful that the Patch editor will allow this to be posted.( a Woman has died no matter how long ago, its still a life)..... Thomas & Michelle both have points but enough already!
