Break-in Reported on Bay Road
A reported breaking and entering incident leads today's Police Log.
The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Bay Road resident came home Thursday at approximately 4:45 to find that his house had been broken into, he reported to Easton Police.
Easton detectives were notified of the incident and are investigating.
Erratic Driver Near Stonehill Campus
Easton Police reported a vehicle drove over a curb exiting Papa Gino's plaza at 1:52 a.m. Saturday and went through the light at Washington Street and Central Street with no headlights on. The vehicle was slow to pull over and was given a verbal warning.
A short time later, Stonehill Police was investigating the same vehicle.
Stonehill PD proceeded with charges.
Reports of Road Rage Incident in Howard Street
At approximately 9:22 p.m. Saturday, Massachusetts State Police reported a dropped call in the area of 83 Howard Street. The caller was reporting a road rage incident and the call was lost.
A second call reported two females fighting in the street in the area of 85 Howard. No description was available.
Officers checked the area and surrounding streets, including Lincoln Street in Norton.
Police made contact with the 911 caller by phone who reported an assault and battery by an unknown female motorist as a result of road rage. The caller reported no injuries and was unable to provide registration of other involved vehicle. The female suspect was described as a white female, 5-8, brown hair wearing pink coat in her mid 20's.
Suspicious Activity Reported at Fox Run
At approximately 10:42 pm. Saturday, a caller who said he was at Fox Run Condos reported his girlfriend came to take money from him but left the scene. The caller was possibly drunk and apprehensive about giving location and name.
The caller was unable to spell his last name or girlfriend's name. The officers dispatched to the area condo units and spoke to residents who stated no such names lived in the building given by the caller. Police attempted to call back but there was no answer. Police checked public records and IMC history but there was no match. A message was left.
