Earthquake Felt in Easton Centered in Southern Maine

The USGS indicates that the quake was a 4.6 and centered in Southern Maine.

 

Just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday an earthquake in Southern Maine resonated all the way to Easton.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was 13 miles Northwest of Biddeford, ME, and registered a 4.6 on the Richter Scale.

Biddeford is approximately 115 miles from the Shovel Town.

Twitter and Facebook reports indicate that the effects were felt in Mass. and New Hampshire as well.

Totally awesome. It felt & sounded like there were animals running around the house for about 10 seconds. Freaked me out!!!
