Easton Fire Department Extinguishes Three Mulch Fires Thursday
Three mulch fires were extinguished Thursday afternoon in Easton
The Easton Fire Department responded to a mulch fire on Washington Street at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Thursday and quickly extinguished the fire.
A short time later, at approximately 2 p.m., the same engine was called out to extinguish a fire at 690 Washington Street, in which mulch near a fence had caught fire.
After extinguishing, crews noticed another small fire in the mulch across the street at 703 Washington Street and quickly extinguished the third fire.
Bay Road Accident Breaks Verizon Pole Wednesday
The Easton Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bay Road Wednesday evening at approximately 7 p.m.
While no injuries were reported, firefighters reported a broken pole and notified Verizon.
Fallen Tree Branch Causes Foundry Street Accident Saturday
The Easton Fire Department responded to East Coast Cycle on Foundry Street Saturday for a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, fire officials found that a vehicle had been struck by a tree branch. No injuries were reported and no transport was required.
