Submitted to Easton Patch:

Firefighter Lee Anderson retired recently after 33 years of service to the Easton Fire Department and the Town of Easton.

Members of FF Anderson's group were joined by his wife and mother who had a cake for him on his last official shift on Tuesday evening. FF Anderson shared many stories with the group, talking about the rewarding experience of being a firefighter.

Captain Dave Beals, his Captain for many years, shared stories of Lee and  complemented him on his dedication to the department and skill as a firefighter.

FF Anderson, an avid surfer, was the department expert on water rescue and trained many of the departments firefighters over the years. Chief Partridge, who join the group on Tuesday evening, thanked FF Anderson for his service and the support he showed him as the new Chief and wished him the very best in his retirement.
