Remembering Elizabeth R. Heberling
Elizabeth R. (Ford) Heberling, 94, a resident of Easton for the past 30 years, formerly of Stoughton, died Friday evening, January 18, 2013 at Baypointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Quentin Heberling.
Born in DuBois, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1918, a daughter of the late Corneilus and Agnes (McMahon) Ford, she was raised in DuBois and was a graduate of Catholic School.
Elizabeth was employed in the stockroom of Analog Devices of Canton for over 20 years.
A communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton she was a former member of the Easton Bowling League. She enjoyed line dancing at Parker Terrace in Easton and her hobbies included traveling, playing bingo and trips to Foxwoods Resort and Casino.
Elizabeth is survived by a son, Thomas Q. Heberling and his wife Diane of Stoughton; a daughter, Muriel A. Studley and her husband Joseph of Easton; her siblings, Neil Ford, Thomas Ford, Mac Ford, William Ford, Mary Shenkle, Jean Swisher and Hank Ford; five grandchildren, Heidi Hudson of Stoughton, Jeff Heberling of Boston, Bartlett Heberling of Boston, Stephen Studley of Middleboro and Sheryl Foley of Middleton, WI. and 10 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
