Fire Officials Respond to Brush Fire

A look at what is happening with the Easton Fire Department

 

At approximately 9:50 a.m. Friday, the Easton Fire Department responded to the area of Center School for an outside odor of smoke. Two engines checked the area and found smoke from an agricultural permit at Flynn's Family Farm.

Residential Fire Alarm Tuesday

Easton Fire Officials responded to a call on Sharron Drive Tuesday at approximately 9:15 p.m. for a fire alarm sounding.

Two engines and a ladder responded. Upon arrival, firefighters found the smell of smoke and a light haze in the building. Crews checked the home and found a problem with an air conditioner motor. The homeowner was advised of the problem.

Downed Wires at Meetinghouse Lane

A fire engine was dispatched to Center Street and Meetinghouse Lane for a wire investigation at approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, downed telephone wires were found attached to 347 Center Street.

Residential Alarm on Bay Road

Two fire engines and an ambulance responded to 312 Bay Road for a residential fire alarm at approximately 3:20 Monday. Upon arrival, crews found a faulty detector and the resident was advised.
