1. TEMPO Dessert Show
Where/When: Oliver Ames High School Auditorium/ Friday 7 p.m.
Why Go?:
The Annual Dessert Show is TEMPO’s largest fundraiser. Proceeds from the event help TEMPO continue their work in supporting the music programs in all of the Easton Public Schools from grades K-12. To learn more, click here.
2. Maplewood Country Day Camp and Enrichment Center Open House
Where/When: Maplewood Country Day Camp and Enrichment Center/Sunday 10 a.m.
Why Go?:
Maplewood Day Camp & Enrichment Center invites parents and kids aged 4-14 to learn about its expanded Summer Camp program and enjoy a day of family fun on Sunday, February 5 from 10.a.m. to 1 p.m.
Approaching its 48th summer, Maplewood has added new activities—Lego Robotics, Maplewood Barnyard, Night Sky, and Dig into Dinosaurs—to encourage campers to “explore new worlds.” At the free event, parents will have an opportunity to meet with Maplewood’s owners and staff and learn more about the summer camp program, while children enjoy activities including a moonwalk, rock climbing wall, gymnastics, face painting, and more. 3. Family Arts Day at the Children's Museum
Where/When: Children's Museum of Easton/ Sunday 1 p.m.
Why Go?:
Join the students of the Talented Teens Art Class and their instructor, Judith Murray Smith, for an afternoon to celebrate the arts! Check out the student art exhibition showcasing their amazing talent in an array of mediums. This is a family event, FREE with Museum admission.
4. Wath the Super Bowl in Easton
Where/When?: A fine Easton establishment/ 6 p.m. Saturday
Why Go?:
The New England Patriots are playing the New York Giants in the Super Bowl!! Luckily, you live in a community filled with excellent places to enjoy the contest. Check out Doyles, Maguire's, the Stoneforge, Buddy's Union Villa, Hibernia Irish Pub, or the 99 to watch the game.
