1. Winterfest 2012 - benefitting the Easton YMCA Strong Kids campaign
Where/When: Easton Country Club/ Friday 7:30 p.m.
Why Go?:
Make plans now to attend “Winterfest 2012” to benefit the Easton YMCA Strong Kids Campaign! This annual fund-raising event will be held Friday, Jan. 27, 7:30 p.m. through midnight at the Easton Country Club, 265 Purchase Street in Easton.
There will be a fun evening of live music, dancing, auctions and raffles. Chase your winter blues away to the beats of Java Jive, starting at 8 p.m. A cash bar will be open as well.
Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets, please call or visit the Welcome Center staff at the Old Colony YMCA Easton Branch, 25 Elm St., North Easton.
2. Easton Pilates Studio Grand Re-Opening
Where/When: 105 Washington St, North Easton, MA / Saturday 9 a.m.
Why Go?:
WE HAVE MOVED and EXPANDED OUR PILATES STUDIO FROM 195 Washington St to 105 Washington St. Rte 138 only a half mile away heading towards Stoughton on the left.
Join us as we celebrate our GRAND RE-OPENING of our beautiful 1,500 sq. ft. mind body oasis. Try one or more of our FREE classes and body work that are being offered this winter at our new studio.

Pawsitive Energy Animal Massage is holding a canine massage workshop this Saturday from 9am-12pm. Learn how to give your dog a great massage.
They provide us with unconditional love and this is a great opportunity to learn how to give back to them in a way they will love! This is a hands on workshop for you and your canine companion. We will cover the benefits of massage for your dog, basic canine anatomy, the do's and don'ts of massage and basic massage techniques.

4. Ames Free Library Book Sale
Where/When?: Queset House /Saturday 10 a.m., Sunday 11 a.m.
Why Go?:
The Friends of the Ames Free Library welcome you to their annual book sale. Bibliophiles can expect to find many great titles, including a good sized collection of children’s books at true bargain prices, collected from library remainders and generous donations from the Easton community.
Donations of books for the sale are also welcome and may be dropped off in the book drop at the back of Queset House.
Where/When?: Richardson-Olmsted/Sunday 2 p.m.
Why Go?:
The Easton Lions will hold their 26th Annual TV / Internet Auction. 100 percent of the money raised is donated to Eye Research and other efforts to eradicate Blindness from the Earth as well as many community causes.
We have about 300 items to auction off including many new this year. We will be updating the auction website 24/7 from now until Sunday: www.EastonLionsAuction.com.
We will be having " Buy it Now " and "mini-auctions " on our Facebook Page from now through Sunday. “Friend” us at Facebook, please. We will also have “Friend us” and “Share” specials …only those who are “friends” and “Share” posts will be eligible for these. The Auction Timetable is scheduled be online by Sunday . This is an estimate and Can Change.
Pre-bidding is Sat from 2-4 pm at the Richardson – Olmstead Cafeteria. We may take pre-bids by phone at this time.
Items of particular interest seem to be Patriots memorabilia (like footballs signed by Matt Light or Vince Wilfork, a Tom Brady autographed Caricature) and the Car.
