Max and Pat's to Replace Avellino's at Five Corners
Avellino's is changing ownership and changing it's name to Max and Pat's
Avellino's Pizzeria at Five Corners in Easton will soon have a new name and a new owner.
Selectmen accepted an application Monday night to change the restaurant's ownership and change the name to Max and Pat's Pizzeria.
The restaurant's new owner, Ryan Keith, said the spot next to Dunkin' Donuts will remain a North End style pizzeria. Keith also said the floor plan and interior features will not dramatically change, either. He hopes, however, to create a rejuvenated environment.
Besides himself, Keith employs about 14-15 people part-time, he said.
As the new owner, he hopes to do some "cleaning up."
"We did a lot of cleaning," he said. "Slowly and surely we’re going to do a lot of cleaning and get away from Avellino's and move toward Max and Pat's."

This is a great change. I have had talks with him about buying fresh local products. He is excited about using the best local products that are available from local Easton farms
