There was one noticeable absence at this year's Easton Memorial Day Parade.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander Alvin Smart thanked the Canton Legion Band for stepping in for the Oliver Ames Marching Band, which was in Washington DC marching in the Nation's Memorial Day Parade.
Led by Band Director Robert Wheeler, the OA band was honored in the nation's capital.
