Question of the Day: Best Pizza in Town

Where is the best place to buy pizza in town?

We're asking Easton Patch readers a different question every weekday at noon. Questions could range from local decisions made by officials, to state issues, to national politics and entertainment. Whatever it is, we want to know what EASTON thinks! To answer, use our comments section below.

When it comes to pizza, there is no shortage of options as to where you can buy a pizza in town. Whether it be Bill's House of Pizza, Avellino Pizza, Lindo's, Ultimate, Mina's, Sophies, Papa Gino's or Easton House of Pizza, pizza is always convenient in this town.

Other restaurants, like Buddy's Union Villa, Doyle's, the Stoneforge and Maguire's sell pizza as well.

Now, this is s great question! Pizza so different from place to place, and really it's a matter of individual taste as far as what pizza you think is the tastiest. However, more can be said about things such as value for price... location... timeliness of delivery... other options... cleanliness... etc.

First off, though, just how many pizza places are there in Easton? SO many! The last thing we need in Easton is ANOTHER pizza place, (or day care!) but they still seem to be popping up everywhere!

So, in my estimation, let's go off your list to the right of the question:

1. Mario's
2. Doyle's
3. Bill's

Hear Union VIlla is good, but haven't tried it. On the to-do list. Now that I think of it, quite a few I haven't tried. So much pizza, so little time.

Mario's isn't even on the list! I have not been there.

Bill's House of Pizza - wins the award for best variety. If I want pizza but the kids want chicken, I can get it there. Downfall: frequently get the order incorrect.

Avellino Pizza - good pizza, pricey.

Lindos Pizza - never heard of it

Ultimate Pizza - haven't tried it.

Mina's Pizza - wins the award for best Greek salad... fresh yummy pita bread

Sophie's Pizza - never heard of it

Papa Gino's - chain pizza place, so I won't comment on their food, we all know what PG has to offer. However, for Easton specifically? Can you say slow? Don't count on the delivery coming in anything under (and most likely well over) 40 minutes!

Easton House of Pizza - never heard of it.

Union Villa - wins award for best bar pizza. Good value for the money, too.

Doyle's Bar & Grill - never had their pizza.

The Stoneforge Grille - not a "pizza place" but good food including the pizza.

Maguire's Bar & Grill - never had their pizza.

It would be nice to bring back the original Crossroads Pizza, with original recipe(s).
