Question of the Day: Tea Party [Poll]

Is the Tea Party helping or hurting politics?

The Greater Boston Tea Party has announced a new leader, the Boston Globe reports. Haverhill's Christine Morabito will take over for the group that has dominated political headlines over the last two years and made waves in the 2010 midterm elections.

Since its inception, though, the tea party has often been a source of controversy. Many blame tea party members for political stalemate in Washington resulting from ideological purity.

Others, however, feel the Tea Party has driven positive discussion in politics focused on smaller government and limiting debt.

Don't always believe what the liberal press wants you to think of the tea party.Stand up for what you believe in. Washington doesn't

Tea Party is not a source of controversy. It has the unenviable position of confronting the real source of controversy: business-as-usual government. Those who characterize it as a source of controversy are part of the problem
