Where/When: Southeastern Regional School District/ Saturday 8 a.m.
The Southeastern environmental science department is holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, April 28, rain or shine. The yard sale will be held outside the school, at 250 Foundry Street, in South Easton.
Proceeds from the sale will pay for a field trip to Acadia National Park in Maine.
Where/When: 196 Washington Street/ Saturday 9 a.m.
The Easton Lions Grange Charitable Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturdays from 9 to 3. We are located at the intersection of Rt.138 & Elm St, next to the Union Villa. Your donations are tax deductible.
New used inventory coming in all the time. We are loaded for bear. Dining sets, end tables, couches, chairs, patio sets, glassware, prints, paintings, tools, collectibles, jewelry, nick-knacks, books, toys, bikes, records, clothing, baby things, household items, and an endless count of usable items by the many hundreds. Everything is priced to move and everyone can dicker. No reasonable offers refused.
Where/When: Borderland State Park/Saturday 9 a.m.
The event will kick off on Saturday, April 28th, at 9:00 am at Borderland State Park, 259 Massapoag Ave., Easton. Registration begins at 8:00 am. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities, including competitive runners, children, families, and teens. Individuals
and teams are invited to participate.
The 5K Race and 2-mile Fun Walk will raise money to support SOWMA’s life-changing services for children and teens experiencing homelessness, including: one-on-one afterschool tutoring; new backpacks and school supplies; and educational advocacy and support. SOWMA currently serves children in 10 Eastern Massachusetts locations, including family shelters, afterschool programs, and community centers in Brockton, Middleboro, New Bedford, Norwell, Quincy, and Stoughton.

Dream Prom & Social Occasion along with Jessica Lesage, Miss Easton, and Molly Caron, Miss Easton Outstanding Teen, will be hosting a Princess Day Fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network on Saturday, April 28th at Dream. Proceeds will benefit the Children's Miracle Network, the national platform of the Miss American Organization
Jessica Lesage, Miss Easton, will also be making an appearance at House of Possibilities on Saturday, April 28th in the evening to visit for the Princess Slumber Party.
Where/When?: Frothingham Park/ 2 p.m. Saturday
The Easton Legion Post 7 baseball team will be holding two tryout dates this year. The first will be Saturday April 28 at 2 p.m. and the second will be Sunday May 6 at 2 p.m.
Both tryouts will be at Frothingham Park on Sheridan and Park Street.
6. Easton Little League Opening Day Parade
Where/When?: Mlitia Park-Lincoln Street/ 11 a.m. Sunday
The Opening Day Parade will begin at 11am followed by a day of baseball, food and fun! There will be EYBL merchandise available, local vendors and great raffle prizes. To view your teams picture time CLICK HERE.
