THIS WEEKEND: Yard Sales and Moving Sales

What is happening around Easton this weekend?

 

It’s Friday and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new events to explore. We'll feature events from Easton and things to do within driving distance.

1. Moving Sale

Where/When: 15 Sheridan Street/ Saturday 8 a.m.

Why Go?:

Furniture, housewares, books, and lots of kids stuff (toys, books, bikes, baby gear)! 

2. Grange Thrift Shop

Where/When: 196 Washington Street/ Saturday 9 a.m.

Why Go?:

The Easton Lions Grange Charitable Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturdays from 9 to 3. We are located at the intersection of Rt.138 & Elm St, next to the Union Villa. Your donations are tax deductible.

New used inventory coming in all the time. We are loaded for bear. Dining sets, end tables, couches, chairs, patio sets, glassware, prints, paintings, tools, collectibles, jewelry, nick-knacks, books, toys, bikes, records, clothing, baby things, household items, and an endless count of usable items by the many hundreds. Everything is priced to move and everyone can dicker. No reasonable offers refused.

3. Easton Farmer's Market at the Depot Street 'S' Curve

Where/When: Depot Street "S" Curve/ Saturday 10 a.m.

Why Go?

Area vendors will be selling the freshest foods at a new location.

Easton Farmers Market starts this Saturday 10-2 and then Tuesdays 2-6. It is now located at the old "S" curve on Depot St just North of the Five Corners.

4. Yard Sale Fundraiser

Where/When: 16 Miller Road/ Saturday 10 a.m.

Why Go?

Huge multifamily yardsale fundraiser. All proceeds to help animals in need. This yardsale benefits Angels Among Us Animal Rescue. Please come out and support this worthy event. We have children's toys and accessories, clothing, books, household items and furniture as well as much more. Come support this worthy charity. You can also bring new or gently used leashes and/or collars for these wonderful dogs in need.

5. Book Drive

Where/When: St. Mark's Episcopal Church/ Saturday 12 p.m.

Why Go?

Book Drive - accepting Books, CDs, DVDs - Drop off at your convenience!  Book Donation bin at:  St. Mark's Church, 91 Center Street (corner of Columbus)

6. Brockton Rox Baseball

Where/When?: Campanelli Stadium, Brockton/ 5:05 p.m Sunday

Why Go?:

The Brockton Rox play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, one of the top summer baseball leagues in the Northeast!

Sunday is Sunday Family Fun Day/Barn Babies
