DJ Dream Fund Fundraiser Planned
The student councils and student performers from four area high schools will present Talent 4 A Cure (T4AC), an event to raise funds for the DJ Henry Dream Fund (www.djdreamfund.org) at 7 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Easton's Oliver Ames High School.
Students from OA, Sharon, King Philip, and Norton high schools will compete in the event, which will feature bands, dancers, singers, and various other musicians.
The DJ Dream Fund is a non-profit 501 [c] 3 organization dedicated to the memory of Danroy "DJ" Henry. The mission of the non-profit is to share DJ's love of sports by providing the financial resources to enable children and young adults to say "yes" to healthy lifestyles through athletics and wellness programs. It is designed to empower young people to be the best that they can be.
Past T4ACs have raised thousands for causes like the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Invisible Children, Hope for Haiti, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Hearts for Hope.
