The Oliver Ames Tigers will square off at home against Stoughton in the Division III Southwest Football Final.

The following information is from the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation:

The National PTA and NFL will host a “Back to Sports Night” at F. L. Olmsted & H. H. Richardson Schools for PTA families to educate them on youth health and fitness. During the event, families will participate in interactive stations focused on key health and safety issues, including:  keeping active with NFL Play 60, nutrition and hydration education, and concussion symptoms and treatment. 

Devin McCourty also will speak to participants about the benefits of sports participation and the importance of staying physically fit as a family. In addition, McCourty will lead participants through interactive NFL Play 60 skills stations. The event is tonight at 6:30 p.m. 


Town meetings this week 

There is an Agricultural Commission meeting, a Board of Health meeting, and a Historical Commission meeting tonight. On Thursday, there is a Planning and Zoning Board meeting. 


Sign up for Winter Sports at OAHS

The following information is from Oliver Ames High School Athletic Director Bill Matthews:

Online registration is open for Oliver Ames and Easton Middle School sports.  To register go to www.oliverames.org/sports and click "Online Registration." 

Dr. Michael Dern will be conducting physical exams for winter sports at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20 in the nurse's office at OAHS. Cost is $15.  First come, first served.

ImPACT concussion baseline testing will be conducted on Nov. 18 and 19 at 2:15 p.m. at the Easton Middle School Library and on Nov. 20 and 21 at 11:15 a.m. at Oliver Ames High School (Room 102)

Easton Middle School Basketball will have a parent & athlete informational meeting in the auditorium at the Middle School onThursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.  Tryouts will begin Monday, Nov. 25.
