Local Moses Brown seniors win Art Awards, Drexel Photography Contest

Moses Brown student artists honored by Drexel University, Scholastic Art Awards
Eight Moses Brown School students, members of the junior and senior classes, have been honored in Drexel University’s High School Photography Contest and the 2014 Rhode Island Scholastic Art Awards. 
 
Photographs by Kat Achey ’14 (of North Easton) and Alan Hunt ’14 (of Dartmouth) were selected for the Drexel University High School Photography Contest. The contest received over 1350 images from all over the country and chose just 125 images to exhibit. Their work will be on view at Drexel’s Photography Gallery on 33rd & Arch Streets in Philadelphia, February 8-March 10.

Samantha Shorris '14, Gold Photo Portfolio
Daniel Ward '15, Gold Key (Digital Art)
 
Their work will be on display in Newport at Salve Regina University's Hamilton Gallery, January 21-February 2. The Scholastic Art Awards are administered by the Rhode Island Art Education Association, in conjunction with Salve Regina University and the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
