Local Travel Consultant Chosen to Represent Hard Rock Resorts in 2014

Ellen Paderson, founder and travel consultant at Smiles & Miles Travel based in Easton, Mass., has been selected by Travel Impressions of Farmingdale, NY, and by Hard Rock Resorts to serve as a TI Ambassador. Smiles & Miles was chosen from a pool of over 200 travel agency applicants nationwide. As an expert in vacations to Hard Rock locations, Paderson is assuming brand advocacy responsibilities on behalf of her partner for a full year, providing clients with specialized vacation services and special offers.

Paderson, now in her 20th year in the travel industry, says she will work with clients who are interested in trips to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), and in Mexico, including the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, and the newly rebranded Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya (formerly Aventura Palace.)  These are the only all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels in the world.

She points to industry research showing that people enjoy their vacations more when they know everything is paid fo as in all-inclusive resorts. “There won’t be surprise charges at the end of the week, though a few extras aren’t included such as spa treatments, golf or babysitting,” she says.

Last year Paderson was named to the Editorial Advisory Board of Travel Market Report, representing a cross-section of leading travel agencies from around the country. In 2011, Smiles and Miles Travel, was named one of the top 15 travel agencies by the prestigious Network of Entrepreneurs Selling Travel (NEST) consortium representing 500 member agencies.
