MOTHER'S DAY DRIVE: Items needed between now and April 11th.

Mothers.  We all have one.  Once a year, we collectively pause to honor the special role of mothers.   For some mothers, those who are struggling to escape violent homes with their children, there is little opportunity to rest and to feel honored.

Fortunately, the Easton community is known for its generous spirit.  So, here’s where you can help.  HUGSII is sponsoring a Mother’s Day Drive at the local public schools to collect the following:

·      Non-perishable foods:  pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, cereal, soup, canned vegetables, baked beans, tuna, mac & cheese, etc.  (Please check expiration dates.)

·      Baby Items:  disposable diapers, pull-ups, wipes, baby food and formula.  The Easton Food Pantry is in serious need of baby food.

All donations of personal care and baby items will be given to mothers at five domestic violence shelters and/or domestic violence programs.  All food will be given to the local food pantry.

The drive ends April 11th, so we need your support now!
