12-12-12 in Easton Slowest 'Triple Date' Wedding Day in Six Years

Town Clerk Jeremy Gillis said Wednesday was the slowest day for marriages since 2006 when the month, day, and year were all the same number.

Apparently, Easton residents were not interested in securing the final "triple date" wedding day of the century.

Easton Town Clerk Jeremy Gillis said that the Dec. 12, 2012 Wedding Day was the slowest "triple date" (when the month, day and year are all the same number) day for Easton marriages in six years. As of Wednesday afternoon, Gillis had not issued any wedding licenses.

It marks the slowest date since June 6, 2006. Of course, that date was 6-6-06.
