2. Estate Planning at the Ames Free Library

Today at Ames Free Library beginning at 6:30 p.m., Melissa R. Victor is a well-respected attorney who is an expert in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Elder Law and Medicaid.

Discussion will include the differences between Wills and Trusts (revocable and irrevocable), how to protect your assets from a nursing home, how to avoid probate, how to minimize or eliminate Massachusetts estate taxes and how to plan for your family in the event you become incapacitated.

3. Ellis Paul at OA This Week

Don't forget that Ellis Paul will be live at Oliver Ames High School Wednesday.

This concert is a fundraising event for the Oliver Ames High School Latin travel group. The concert will be held in the Oliver Ames HS auditorium. Doors open at 6:45pm and the concert will start at 7:30pm.

Advance purchase tickets are $15/adult and $10/with valid student ID and can be purchased by credit card at www.oliverames.org

Tickets at the door are $20/adult and $15/student.

Ellis Paul is one of the leading voices in American songwriting and one of the top songwriters to emerge out of the fertile Boston folk scene. He has won an unprecedented 14 Boston Music Awards, sung at Fenway Park for the Red Sox, The Boston Garden for the Celtics and even had the mayor of Boston, Thomas M. Menino, proclaim it "Ellis Paul Day in Boston" on July 9th, 2010 when Ellis celebrated his 20th year in making music. His songs are heard in various commercials, documentaries, TV shows and in the soundtracks of blockbuster films. Director Peter Farrelly has called Ellis Paul "a national treasure".
