1. Easton Lions Thrift Shop

The Easton Lions Grange Charitable Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturdays from 9 to 3. We are located at the intersection of Rt.138 & Elm St, next to the Union Villa. Your donations are tax deductible.

New used donated inventory coming in all the time. We are loaded for bear. Dining sets, end tables, couches, chairs, patio sets, glassware, prints, paintings, tools, collectibles, jewelry, nick-knacks, books, toys, bikes, records, clothing, baby things, household items, and an endless count of usable items by the many hundreds. Everything is priced to move and everyone can dicker. No reasonable offers refused.

2. Miss Barbara's Art Adventures at Maplewood

Today at 10 a.m., Miss Barbara's Art Adventures at Maplewood: Ages 1-4 yrs w/ adult

This half- hour program exposes toddlers to the world of art! You and your child will experiment with play-dough, simple collages, paints and much more.

3. Kids Cooking Green Pasta Making at the Children's Museum

Today at 1 p.m. at the Children's Museum: Do you ever wonder how pasta is made, or how you get the filling inside of raviolis? Did you know that there is lemon flavored pasta? Come to The Children’s Museum Wednesday, January 30 at 1pm and learn all about pasta with Lori Deliso from ‘Kids Cooking Green’. Kids in grades 2-5 will be able to join in on fun hands-on activities such as making homemade raviolis and filling. Each child will go home with a box of homemade past and recipes to try at home. Price to be determined for this event.

4. From Easton to Newtown

There will be a card signing at three locations in Easton for Newtown, Conn.

People will have the opportunity to sign a brief message on a paper heart that will be compiled into a special book. It will be sent to Newtown, CT as a gift.
