The Howard Steeple Clock on the David Ames Clock Farm of Stonehill College is one of only 3000 that exist in the country. The steeple clock was installed in 1870 and was used to summon the farmhands working on the sixty acres of fields. Other colleges having a Howard Steeple Clock include Yale and Harvard.
