Yes, it’s time again for the much awaited Annual Easton’s Lantern Parade!

This fun-filled family event, now in its third year, will be held on Saturday Aug.17, beginning at 6 p.m., at the Historical Society (the old RR building) on Sullivan Street and will end at the Ames Library (if inclement weather, it will conclude at the Oakes Ames Memorial Hall).

Easton residents have been preparing for this evening in workshops throughout town designing their original colorfully-decorated lanterns which they will be flaunting and lighting up the downtown in true Easton style!

Even those who did not create their own prop are invited to join in on the fun as the streets of Easton are transformed into a virtual light parade!
