The Children's Museum of Easton's Father's Day Road Race highlights the weekend.

1. Mansion Tour: Building a Home

Where/When: Borderland State Park/ 3:30 p.m. Friday

Why Go:  A 30 minute guided 1st floor tour all about the history of the building of the Ames Mansion. This event is for adults and older children. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Reasonable accommodations.

Pricing: $2 per car parking fee

Where/When: 200 New Boston Dr, Canton/ Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Why Go: Come and enjoy everything that is Irish! Experience the rich and vibrant culture of Ireland at the Irish festival with sports, arts, dance, food, shopping, music and much much more!

Headling musical acts include:  Enter the Haggis, The Prodigals, McPeake, Joshua Tree, Makem & Spain Bros, Derek Warfield & The Young Dubliner, The Screaming Orphans and many many more!

Price: $15 per day/$35 for weekend pass (Fri-Sun)

Why Go?: Support My Brother's Keeper. The walk begins at My Brother's Keeper (534 Washington St.) and  ends at Holy Cross Family Ministries (518 Washington St).

4. 17th Annual Father's Day Road Race

Where/When: Children's Museum of Easton/ 9 a.m. Sunday

Who Go: Start Father’s Day off on the right foot and participate in the Children’s Museum in Easton’s 17th Annual Road Race and Fun Walk!  This family event will be held on Sunday June 19, 2011, at 9:00 AM.

This annual five-mile road race and two-mile “Fun Walk” benefits the educational programs and exhibits of the Children’s Museum in Easton. In addition to a post-race party, raffles, and awards, the museum is also giving away t-shirts to the first 300 pre-entrants, as well as cash prizes for the top runners!

Price: $20 before the race, $25 day of

5. Nature in Your Backyard

Where/When: Borderland State Park/ Sunday 4  p.m.

Why Go: Learn about the plant and animal life found in your own backyard, including wildflowers, trees, birds, and butterflies. For all ages. Reasonable accommodations available upon advance request. Meet in front of Ames Mansion.

Price: $2 Parking Fee for Non-Members.
