National Grid Tree Work Starts This Month

National Grid will be working on trees around town starting this month.

They will be performing selective side pruning and/or the removal of dangerous trees along an electric transmission right-of-way that passes through Easton. The right of way passes the following streets: Turnpike Street, Prospect Street, Foundry Street, Depot Street, Bay Road, Poquanticut Avenue, Rockland Street, and Massapoag Avenue.

Work is expected to take place between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015.
