VIDEO: DJ Dream Fund Serves Youth Athletes

The DJ Dream Fund began in memory of Easton native DJ Henry.

The DJ Dream Fund recently released a video documenting many of the youth athletes it has served in the past year and a half.

The nonprofit organization provides financial resources for youth athletes. It was created in the name of Easton native DJ Henry, who was shot and killed by a New York Police officer in 2010. Henry was a former Oliver Ames High School football player and a football player at Pace University.

"There's no better way to honor him than by giving kids the things that he treasured so deeply," DJ Henry's father Dan Henry says in the video. "We want to make sure that other children don't have that taken away from them because of a financial burden that isn't their fault. We're proud to be able to serve in his honor in this way."
