1. Easton Lions Club Walk Around Cape Cod Canal

Leo's and Lions joing up to raise money for eye research!!  We take a bus from Oliver Ames to Scusset Beach in Sandwich.  A 5 mile walk along the canal, and a lot of good food, fun, friends, and entertainment at the canal make this a truly great day.  Always room on the bus for all!  Great family fun event!!!

2. HUGS Walk For Family Safety

Where/When: Easton Middle School/ Saturday 9 a.m.

Why Go?

It’s time to get ready for the H.U.G.S. (Help Us Get Safe) 14th annual “Walk for Family Safety” to be held on Saturday, October 135h from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.   Residents, students, schools, faith-based groups, and local businesses are encouraged to join in the Walk and help raise the funds necessary for H.U.G.S. to continue providing the community with a wide range of family safety programs and domestic violence services.

This three-mile walk through historic North Easton Village begins and ends at the Easton Middle School.  Participating in the walk is easy.  You can—walk, run, skate, skip—and help raise funds as an individual or as part of a team.   If you can’t join in the Walk, you can sponsor a walker, make a financial contribution, or donate a raffle prize.

3. Grange Thrift Shop

Where/When: 196 Washington Street/ Saturday 9 a.m.

Why Go?:

The Easton Lions Grange Charitable Thrift Shop is open every Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturdays from 9 to 3. We are located at the intersection of Rt.138 & Elm St, next to the Union Villa. Your donations are tax deductible.

New used inventory coming in all the time. We are loaded for bear. Dining sets, end tables, couches, chairs, patio sets, glassware, prints, paintings, tools, collectibles, jewelry, nick-knacks, books, toys, bikes, records, clothing, baby things, household items, and an endless count of usable items by the many hundreds. Everything is priced to move and everyone can dicker. No reasonable offers refused.

4. Easton Farmer's Market at the Depot Street 'S' Curve

Where/When: Depot Street 'S' Curve/ Saturday 10 a.m.

Why Go?

Area vendors will be selling the freshest foods at a new location.

Easton Farmers Market starts this Saturday 10-2 and then Tuesdays 2-6. It is now located at the old "S" curve on Depot St just North of the Five Corners.

5. Oliver Ames Football

Where/When: Muscato Stadium/ Saturday 2:30 p.m.

Why Go?:

The Oliver Ames football team will be at home tomorrow hosting the Taunton Tigers.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.
