What's Easton DPW Working on This Week?

1. Another mostly sunny day is on tap again today, according to WHDH-TV. There will be highs from 85-90.

2. The following is a list of this week's projects for the North Easton Village Infrastructure Project from the Easton Department of Public Works. Here's the schedule for today through Friday: Crews will be installing water mains on Pond and Andrews Streets. During work hours, the streets may be closed to through traffic. Police details will be on sites to direct motorists through the work zones. Paving of the completed trench area is scheduled for Friday, weather permitting. 

3. The Ames Free Library will be presenting the "The Architecture of the Other Guys," Thursday, Aug. 22, at 9:30 a.m. Meet in the main library parking lot. For more information, call 508-238-2000. 

4. The Oliver Ames football team started preseason practice Monday and the rest of the fall teams will start Thursday. Yes, summer is almost over.

5. Cheesemen's Pizzeria is coming soon to the Roache Bros. plaza. You can like them on Facebook or visit www.chessmanpizza.com. They are going to be a couple of doors down from Dunkin' Donuts.
