If your in Easton and are looking for a great place to workout. Vagabond crossfit is the place! I'm sure the other gyms in the area have their specialties, but nothing can compare to the coaching of Kevin O'Malley and his staff and the versatilty of this place. Go there see what it's about! I promise you won't be disappointed. Great people, great place, great results!

Vagabond has taken programming for its clients to the next level. Programs are developed to help their clients meet all of their personal goals. Everyone who comes to Vagabond sees results whether its in weight loss, strength, flexibility, agility, etc. This is the first place I have actually seen real results with coaches who push you to be the best for yourself.

The Training Fix may not win in the poll, one being that Vagabond is a fun gym to workout at and two there is a large amount of clients and Crossfit supporters in general, but The Training Fix should be considered simply because we specialize in analyzing and correcting clients postures and movements before we introduce such progressive movements. The Training Fix makes sure that each client still reaches their goals, whether it is posture issues, pain management and/or weight loss. It is possible to lose weight and tone while still receiving exercises that put your body back into balance. Why would you want to do an overhead squat, if for let’s say, your hips are rotated and you have a depressed shoulder, doing this would only cause injury, maybe, if you are lucky not right away, but eventually strengthening and supporting an incorrect posture will only cause injury to your body one way or another. We provide privates, semi-privates and a few smaller classes for advanced clients. We build programs based off of their screenings so clients receive our undivided attention towards their individual needs. I am proud to say that I am a trainer of The Training Fix for now almost 2 years and a client for over 6 and I couldn’t be more proud of what both the owner, Jenna Nelson and the studio has become. Thank you to all of the clients and supporters of The Training Fix.

I love vagabond crossfit! I have been there for a year and I have made friendships that will last a lifetime, I am in the best shape of my life, and I actually learn things about the human body, fitness, and just how hard I can go when I'm chasing my goals. Lets go VAGABOND!!
John March 22, 2012 at 03:17 AM
Wow this VAGABOND CROSSFIT site is pretty cool. Cant wait to check this gym out. I didn't even realize it was in Easton.

Samantha- The Training Fix does sound great. I am happy you found a place you are happy at. Just to let you know not all CrossFits are the same and I think the reason a lot of people are happy at Vagabond is for the very reasons you are happy at Training Fix. Attention to detail, coaches that take the time to look at each person as a individual and address any issue with mobility past injuries and strength deficiency. Clients are put through an on-ramp program which gives the trainer a chance to really understand their client, develop correct posture and body alignment BEFORE they are aloud to add weight or intensity to any movement from a basic move as a push up all the way to Olympic lifts. People are NOT doing OHS squats at Vagabond unless they can SQUAT, that is correctly with just their own bodies. I hope all the gyms that anyone considers are teaching their clients to move well, good body mechanics, and teaching them how to stretch and mobilize and strengthen themselves in a safe healthy way. Good luck to everyone in your quest for good health.

Hey John, it's awesome! Come in and check it out.

Hadn't worked out in 10 years. Hooked up with Dave Magliozzi of Xtreme Change and 3 months later I was down 20 lbs and 4 inches off my waist. I'm just about 6 months in and down 30lbs overall with 5.5 inches lost. I don't understand how people can afford all the costs with all of those crossfit places. Try to find a deal like Dave's anywhere in the industry. 6 months UNLIMITED SESSIONS for just $500. And you don't even have to pay it all up front. Take out a calculator and figure out what 100 - 125 classes cost you anywhere else.
Jonathan Bloom March 22, 2012 at 01:40 PM
Tim, I'm with you on the "long time away" bandwagon. After nearly 20 years of not working out seriously I followed Dave from his previous gig to his own studio for one main reason - his workouts WORK! Since I started with him, I'm down 75lbs and have dropped FIVE PANTS SIZES!!! I still got a long way to go, but I know Dave will get me there!

Vagabond Crossfit is definatly hands down the best place to workout in Easton. No computer telling you what to do but real trainers, real workouts and real results!!
Lee March 22, 2012 at 03:20 PM
I have honestly tried 5 places on this list, and I ALWAYS ended up reinjuring my back until I found Kevin O'Malley and Vagabond Crossfit. Kevin and the other coaches keep you safe with their expertise and knowledge. I never thought I would be lifting weights without injury! I have lost weight, learned better nutrition and feel stronger than I have in my earlier years. <3 VBC!

Koko Fit Club is awesome !!! Fantastic supportive staff and a truly unique way to work out. I love the convenient hours too!!! Love it!
Andy March 22, 2012 at 03:33 PM
Koko has been great. Since joining last August, I'm really seeing the results. Feeling and looking much stronger and have much more "wind" doing the cardio. Worked my way from low intensity to high intensity workouts in a short time. The staff is great and friendly too!
Jen March 22, 2012 at 03:42 PM
Koko is great. Right on the Easton Mansfield line so easy for all. Kim, Lynne, and Matt are great support. It is a quick workout if you are pressed for time and the machines tell you exactly what to do. I worked out with a trainer for 2 years and hated every second of it, Not the trainer - just working out. And when he wasn't around I didn't know what to do. And spending all that money was awful This is less then half the price for the same great workout. Loving KOKO!!
Todd Elliott March 22, 2012 at 04:00 PM
Ko Ko is a great and convenient place to get an efficient workout in a short amount of time. Couldn't ask for more.
Carole March 22, 2012 at 04:43 PM
I love Koko fit club in Easton. The workouts are challenging and efficient - so there's no excuse for not working out. The staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful and upbeat. The people who work out there are great too. Really nice environment and a pleasure to go to every day!
Ray March 22, 2012 at 04:49 PM
Koko is the best idea. You get the benefits of a trainer without the cost and hassle. You stay interested because the workouts are varied and you can keep track of your progress on line. The clientele and staff are very friendly!
LMartin March 22, 2012 at 04:56 PM
KoKo of Easton is great! It is the best place I have ever worked out. Great work-out and so much cheaper than a personal trainer. I moved and wished that I could have taken the staff and gym with me. The workouts are different each time and motivating! The staff is friendly and very knowledgable!
Larry March 22, 2012 at 05:10 PM
I got board and un motivated at one of these other gyms, skeptically joined Vagabond 3 weeks ago, and I can honestly say it is terrific. I guess I was skeptical because I really didn’t know what cross fit training was, I just kind of heard about it. If you want to find out what it is, you should ask if you can watch a class, you will leave saying to yourself that's for me. Everyone keeps mentioning the coaches, and it is true, they know what they are talking about, they take the time to work with you and keep you safe. They are all very approachable, they are not just "coaches", they all work out there, the gym has a "family" feeling to it, there’s always people (of all different fitness levels) cheering you on, as you are getting through your work out to keep you going.

I LOVE KoKo FitClub! Can you say 51% strength gain since June of 2011? I absolutely love that I don't have to worry about being late for class and I can go when I want to. It's on my time! The hours are fantastic and the staff is amazing and they make it a TRUE member experience. You're always welcomed with a friendly smile. As far as results....can you say results? I noticed a difference in as little as 2 weeks...major body changes have happened ever since...it also helped me get the last 10 pounds off that I needed to lose and I have kept if off and I continue to maintain my weight. I look forward to working out...if that's what you want to call it. The technology doesn't even make you feel like you're working out. It's very engaging and takes all the think work out. Check out the website. This is technology at its absolute BEST!
BIG Mike March 22, 2012 at 07:38 PM
KoKo Fit Club is really good! Long hours, good workouts with variety, well kept equipment, friendly and helpful staff, clean and most of all convenient to get to. What more could you ask for?
Karen Smith March 22, 2012 at 07:44 PM
Karen KoKo FitClub has been the one place I've stuck with. I'm not one of those people who loves working out, but the way KoKo works you can't make a mistake. The staff is friendly and supportive.
Maria March 22, 2012 at 09:17 PM
Cancel your gym membership and join the Easton KoKo Fit Club. It's a great workout, especially if you are busy or don't know what to do at a gym. You will have a great workout in 30 minutes or less. It's awesome!
Julie March 23, 2012 at 12:36 AM
Vagabond without a doubt! Forget just best of Easton! The coaches, workouts and community is the best. I have never felt fitter and each week I seem to beat my personal bests. It is so motivating! Every crossfit gym is different but Kevin and all the coaches take time every class to teach proper form and technique. It makes the world of difference.
John Connor March 23, 2012 at 07:17 AM
This is how the robots begin to take over... don't give in!
Michelle pepe March 24, 2012 at 08:55 PM
Koko Fit club is the most innovative way to train...it's a bit addicting! Take it from someone who has always despised exercise. At Koko you can have an efficient and satisfying workout in 30 minutes or less. It's perfect for the person who doesn't have all day to spend at the gym for practically no results. Here you WILL see results! Also the staff could not be any nicer or more helpful. Wonderful place!
