Good Samaritan Expands Surgical Services to Easton

Acquisition of surgery center provides additional choice for patients.

Good Samaritan Medical Center has expanded its campus footprint with the acquisition of a surgery center in North Easton located at 1 Washington Place in Roche Bros. Way.

This additional location means patients have more choice and three options for all of their surgical needs. Good Samaritan will continue to provide the same wide-range of surgical services at the main hospital campus at 235 N. Pearl St., Brockton and outpatient surgical procedures at the Stoughton SurgiCenter, 909 Sumner St., Stoughton.

The North Easton Surgery Center offers outpatient procedures during the week.  The initial focus will be on orthopedic surgery with the skilled surgical teams at Good Samaritan and Orthopedic Care Specialists and urology procedures in conjunction with Brockton Urology Clinic, Inc. physicians.

The partnership between the former owners and managers of the surgery center and Good Samaritan Medical Center has resulted in greater access and optimal care for patients close to home.

“Good Samaritan’s expansion into Easton is a wonderful additional resource for the community of Easton and also offers greater choice and flexibility for those patients we serve in the entire Metro South region,” said Good Samaritan Medical Center president Jeffery H. Liebman.
