Greek Pizzeria to Open on Belmont Street in Easton

The new restaurant will be a pizza shop that also sells homemade Greek food.

Belmont Street in Easton just got a little more Greek.

Easton Selectmen approved the transfer of a common victualler license Monday that will allow the opening of a new pizza and Greek restaurant at the location of the former North End Pizzeria.

"It’s going to basically remain a pizza shop but I’m also going to serve homemade Greek food," owner Silvia Nokarios told selectmen.

Nokarios, an Easton resident, said she hopes the opening Slice of Greek Pizzeria and Greek Kitchen will coincide with the beginning of Stonehill College's spring semester the last week in January. She said at latest, the new pizza spot's doors will be open at the beginning of February.

The inside of the restaurant, with eight booths, will remain the same.
