Scott's Fine Wines and Spirits Under New Ownership

The premises will undergo a $5,000 renovation.

The name will not change at Scott's Fine Wine and Spirits, but the layout and ownership will.

Selectmen approved an application last week to transfer the liquor license associated with Scott's Fine Wine and Liquors in Correia's Plaza from Paparo Liquors to Shree Laxmi Corporation.

The new owners of the store will be Nigam A. Dixit and Parul N. Dixit of Randolph and their first action of business will be a $5,000 renovation on the store, which was purchased for $300,000.

Nigam Dixit told Selectmen last week he was aware of the town's strict alcohol policy. He said he has previous experience in selling liquor. He formerly worked at a 7-11 that sold beer and wine.

Store hours will be 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and noon - 10 p.m. on Sunday.
