Visions For Vacancies: Claudia's Cafe

What should replace the former Claudia's Cafe location on Turnpike Street (Route 138)?

Drive around Easton and you'll notice far too many empty storefronts and buildings.

This week, we're continuing a new series titled "Visions for Vacancies." We'll showcase an empty storefront and ask you what should take up the space.

This week, we ask you what should go in at the empty storefront on Turnpike Street that is home to the former Claudia's Cafe?

Located at 420 Turnpike Street south of Hibernia but north of the Route 106 intersection, Claudia's used to offer lunch and catering. Now the space is available for lease.

What do you think should go in the location? Another cafe? A breakfast spot? A lounge? Variety store? Tell us in comments!

How about a private ambulance and/or medical transport company, offering low cost alternatives for medical transport to/from the hospital, doctor's appointments and from the hospital back to the nursing home for routine, run-of-the-mill appointments that the insurance companies will not pay for. Surely, it does not cost $1,000 or more for a simple transport. For the unemployed, entrepreneurial type, there is a new business opportunity for you! Start with one van, and grow that business!

People drive by this building and dont even know its there. There's a lot of locations with that problem in town.
