Ryan & Faenza, a local divorce and family law firm, announces the hiring of a new attorney.  Kara J. Carey, Esq. joined the firm this summer.  She brings with her an array of experience in divorce and family law.  Kara has been practicing divorce law for over 6 years and has managed all types of family law cases.  Kara received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The College of the Holy Cross and graduated from Northeastern University School of Law.

Ryan & Faenza has been a presence in Walpole for the past 27 years.  They have a solid practice in divorce and family law.  While the lawyers are all female, it is not by design; the firm represents an even blend of men and women. Marilynne (Mal) Ryan comments; “the hiring of Kara involved finding the best attorney for the job and she just happened to be female.”

Kara will join partners Marilynne Ryan and Deb Faenza, and associates Amy Vaughn and Anne Marie Corraro in the practice of divorce and family law (as well as real estate.)  The firm’s attorneys practice in all local courts, including Norfolk, Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Middlesex and Worcester Counties.  Kara comes to the firm with the unique experience of having interned with now Chief Justice of the Trial Court Paula M. Carey while she was at the Norfolk Probate and Family Court.  Kara will join the rest of the firm in the practice of divorce and all other aspects of family law, including child support, parenting rights, paternity, alimony, division of property, prenuptial and post nuptial agreements, modification of existing divorce orders, as well as prosecution and defense of abuse prevention (restraining) orders.

The firm also handles real estate transactions and other work. For more information about Ryan & Faenza, please visit their website at www.ryanfaenza.com.
