Small Business Saturday is November 30, a day for consumers to celebrate small business in their neighborhood. By shopping or dining locally, you are helping to power the local economy and invigorate the community. The Shop Small Movement was founded by American Express in 2010 and recognized by the U.S. Senate in 2011. It spurred a movement that many individuals, businesses and communities have embraced nationwide. “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” tend to emphasize major retailers but small businesses have much to offer holiday shoppers as well. Consumers play a key role in helping small business thrive, so reinvest in the community that you call home, and Shop Small on November 30. For more information on this initiative, visit www.smallbusinesssaturday.com. The Easton Chamber of Commerce strives to promote economic prosperity in the Easton community and is proud to support Small Business Saturday.
