CBC Youth Wrestling attends Harvard

CBC Youth Wrestling was invited by Harvard Wrestling Assistant Coach JP O'Connor (NCAA Wrestling Champion) to participate in an exhibition match against Doughboy Wrestling Club out of Lowell MA on Sunday February 23. The youth wrestling would be the preliminary bouts prior to the Harvard vs Lehigh wrestling match being filmed by ESPN. All the young wrestlers were up for the task. There were sixteen very entertaining matches between CBC and Doughboy. The wrestlers competed well with each other and showed great sportsmanship after every match by shaking the hands of their opponent and their coaches regardless of the outcome. After the youth grapplers were finished they were invited to stay and watch the college wrestlers compete. To finish a great day of wrestling off the Harvard wrestlers set up an area to personally sign their team photo for everyone who waited in line. This was a first class education for all the young athletes. Thank you to Harvard Wrestling and Doughboy Wrestling Club.
