At Today's Marketplace at Simpson Spring

Marketplace Update
Wow! Our new name is really catching on already! Many of you are really embracing our local business marketplace model. We are so fortunate to be able to provide a home to so many awesome artisans - And we are so grateful to our fabulous customers who return week after week to our unique Marketplace. In the 6 months since we've begun this project, it has grown and is growing in the wildest of ways! We appreciate each and every one of you who have contributed to this success in any way, shape or form.


We encourage our guests to continue to spread the word. Please bring a friend with you this week and help us support our local artisan community.
Every week we strive to bring you quality food and hand made goods, unique guests and new vendors. We will keep it up if you can keep coming!

A Few Notes
  • Fancy Firewood Custom Wood Carving and Chain Saw Art will be at the Marketplace this week creating chainsaw art live!!!
  • Our Kid's Toy Swap returns! Bring your kids with you to the Marketplace and have them bring an unloved toy to swap for something new!
  • We welcome Fish & Seafood from Adams Fish Market this week. Adam's Fish Market has been in business for more than 75 years. We will have Adams Fish Market staples from the sea, or you can place your order in advance. Sea Scallops, Salmon, Swordfish Skinned Haddock, Cod even wild caught salmon!   • A Summer Place Farm will have rhubarb, kale, bok chou, baby spinach, beet greens and possibly asparagus if ready.There is not a whole lot of the cold storage, winter veggies being the in-between season, but the best is yet to come! Please stay tuned!
  • Chair Massages! 10-15 minutes. No Charge! Look for Larry Howard Sports Massage. More info about this new vendor below!
  • Learn More about this Environmental challenge group from Dartmouth. Each month they have a new challenge. This past month was making their own eco-friendly cleaning products. In the past they have volunteered at Beach clean-ups... They have even had months where they have banned plastic! This week meet some of our future environmental engineers and learn about this unique group. There will be lots of crafts for the kiddos to do as well!!
  • Get your gluten-free goodies from Sammi's Stuff! Please see Matt in the store or Linda Spartachino from Heaven Made Bakery
  • Cretinon's Farm Stand and A Summer Place Farm will have their own flowers grown on their farms - Beautiful lilacs! 
  • Tarot Card Readings with Destiny Revealed 
  • Did you know, we have at least 2 tables available for Local charities to promote their events every week. Call Simpson Spring for details.

Small Business Seminar: Social Media!

Coming up on June 1 we will be offering the last of our 3 Small Business Seminars in conjunction with The Mass Small Business Development Association.The Seminar will take place at Simpson Spring, after the Saturday Market at 2:30 and is sponsored by The Metro South Chamber of Commerce. Nannygoats Goat Milk Soap is a lovely, natural, skin friendly soap made from fresh creamy goat milk.  They add natural ingredients and pure essential oil to create a moisturizing soap that smells great! All soap is made on a small family farm in Plymouth, MA.  Nicole McKenna and her husband and five children have been raising goats since 1999 and began making soap a few years later.  They have over 10 varieties to choose from and each bar is hand cut to 4 ounces.   Larry Howard Sports Massage Larry Howard specializes in Orthopedic, Deep Tissue,Myofascial, Stress Reduction/ Relaxation and Sport Specific massage techniques.
