Have you heard the Buzz? See Pete's Bee's at this week's Marketplace at Simpson Spring

FUN FOR THE KIDS & Adults! Rosie Bud's Pete Tullock will be bringing the bees this week! At this week's marketplace there will be an observation hive - a briefcase size wood and glass box with lots of bees and eggs and larva on it.  You will be able to watch up close and personal (and safe!) how those bees will go about their daily business of taking care of the young. There is glass on both sides of the observation hive so we can see everything that's going on. So cool!  

A Few Notes

• This is the last marketplace before the Independence Day! Grab all you need for a fabulous 4th! Here are a few suggestions: Simpson Spring Water and Soda, Omega Olive Oil for Grilling, Some Veggies from our farms (A Summer Place, Cervilli's & Cretinon's), Pasta from the Pastaman for a cool summer salad and don't forget to place an order some tasty pork cuts (ribs, sausages) from Brown Boar Farm and pick it up at the market this week! And these are just a few suggestions! 

• We are psyched to have the Pastaman at our marketplace! Fior D'Italia Pasta & Cheese crafts small batch, artisanal pasta, sauces and fresh mozzarella cheese. Grab your faves for a grand Sunday Dinner.

• Did anyone make their own laundry soap from Renée's recipe last week? Tell us about it on our Facebook Page. If you didn't -  please stop by and see Renée from Raw for Longer and grab a sample of her laundry soap! And, as always, read her article at the end of this newsletter each week!

• Engelnook Farm will have new cheese from Rhody Fresh & Narragansett Creamery, a German soft cheese known as Butterkase - a mild, semi-soft cheese. Its initial acetic tang is followed by a deep savory buttery flavor exploding at the back of the palate.

• Place your order now for Brown Boar Farm. Delivery will be at Saturday's Marketplace. They offer a full range of pork cuts, including a variety of sausages, chops, roasts, bacon, ribs and specialty items like pork pies and burgers. Their pork is raised in a humane manner and never contains preservatives or fillers. Their product list has been aded to ourFacebook page. • 'Tis the season for Honey Corn Muffins from A Summer Place Farm.

• Cretinon's Farm Stand will have English peas, sugar snaps, cherry and grape tomatoes, MA grown greenhouse tomatoes, and the first summer squash and zucchini's of the season! 

• Red Barn Coffee Roasters will be onsite with Hot & Cold Brew Coffee!

• FOR THE KIDS! Kid's Toy Swap is back again! Have your kids bring a toy they no longer want and swap it for a 'new' one!

• This week also see Omega Olive Oil, Larry Howard Sports Massage and Dad's Downstairs Creations in Wood.

• We also have local residents onsite with Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, and Stella and Dot boutique jewelry.

• This will be your last chance to give to the The One Fund. Don't forget! Also, we collect for the Easton Food Pantry. 

Coming Up

• The Marketplace will be closed on July 6th so that the hard working vendors can take a day off ! Simpson Spring will be open and possibly a few surprise vendors may show up!

• July 27th : Mark your calendars we will be hosting a group of New England Soda Bottlers here for you to sample their products!
