1. The Easton town manager's report is available on the town web site or by clicking here. One of the highlights was that the Easton police reported a significant decrease in crime in the third quarter fiscal year, ending March 31.
2. Will the heat ever stop? One way to beat is to heat the Easton Town Pool at 101 Lincoln St. The pool is open from noon to 6 p.m.
3. When you have a chance, go the Oliver Ames high school web page and check out the latest edition of their literary magazine, Medium, which showcases the writing, art and photography from students and teachers. Go to their site here.
4. Congratulations to the champions of Easton Youth Baseball's spring season, the Louisville Bats, minors division, Twins, prep division, and Red Sox, majors division. To see what the champions look like, go to their web site.
5. Speaking of baseball, if you haven't already done it, check out Rob Holmes' 2013 Oliver Ames varsity team video at the team's website. There are a lot great highlights of OA's season. The Tigers are on an impressive streak, winning the Hockomock League champions in 2010 and the league's Davenport Division from 2010 to 2013.
