5 Things January 11 in Easton: Another Potential Candidate for Selectman

Happy Friday, Easton.

1. Art Adventures at the Children's Museum

Come by The Children’s Museum in Easton every Thursday from 9:30 am to 11 am to enjoy the Art Adventures program! Children will be able to explore various art mediums as they are introduced to the colorful and creative world of art. They will become young artists as the learn how to make their own special masterpieces that they can take home! Art Adventures does not require registration and is free with paid admission to the museum.

There will be no class on February 21, 2012 due to school vacation.

2. Maloney Pulls Papers for Board of Selectmen

Michael Maloney, who ran for Board of Selectmen last year, has pulled papers for one of two three-year seats on the Board.

On Wednesday and Thursday last week, Dorothy Fulginiti and Daniel Smith both pulled nomination papers as well.

Thomas Downey of 37 Day Street pulled papers to run for re-election for a five year position on the Housing Authority and Elaine Hanson has pulled papers to run for Finance Committee.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on whether or not others are thinking of throwing their hats in the ring.
