1. Town Offices Closed Today

The Town of Easton offices will be closed today in recognition of Veteran's Day.

2. Easton Veteran's Day Parade

Main Street will be closed Monday at 11 a.m. for the town of Easton's Annual Veteran's Day Parade.

American Legion Post 7 Commander Joseph Moran reminded residents that they are invited to attend the parade.

It will begin at Washington Square on the corner of Washington Street and proceed down Main Street. The parade will end with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Sullivan Ave, Mechanic Street and Pond Street.

Moran said Vietnam Veterans of Easton will be recognized in a ceremony as well.

3. Easton Special Town Meeting

The Town of Easton will hold a Special Town Meeting on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Oliver Ames High School Auditorium on Lothrop Street. For a copy of the DRAFT warrant, please click here.

4.  Veteran's Day at the Children's Museum

The Children’s Museum in Easton is hosting a Veteran’s Day event on November 12th.  The Museum is closed during the school year on Mondays but is open for this special day. Come to the Children’s Museum in Easton to honor the men and women who have served our country and protected our freedom. Take part in making a community art project by making part of a flag that will be preserved and displayed at the museum. Then make a patriotic noise maker for your local parade. This event is from 10am to 4pm and is free with admission. Please call 508-230-378
