5 Things You Need to Know October 5 in Easton

Happy Friday, Easton.

1. Art Adventures at the Children's Museum

Join us every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. starting September 23rd for this exciting drop in. Every week has a new adventure! Explore different forms of dance, music, drama, as well as painting, clay and more in this creative workshop. Special guest teachers will bring their art to life in this interactive and fun filled program.

"Art Adventures" does not require registration and is free with paid admission to the Museum. Admission is $7.50 per person; members and children under 1 are free.

2. Town Offices Closed Columbus Day

The Town Offices will be Closed Monday, October 8, in observance of Columbus Day.

3. Fire Department Open House

The Easton fire Department will host an Open House on Saturday October 6, at Fire Station #1 on Lothrop Street. The event will take place from 1pm-4pm and will include apparatus displays, fire prevention materials, Smokey Bear, vehicle extrication demonstrations, fire equipment displays and more. Papa Gino’s is sponsoring the open house and will be providing pizza for the event, and other refreshments will be served.

Parking will be available at the High School or Richardson Olmstead Schools.

4. Master Plan Steering Committee Seeking Candidates

The Planning Board and Board of Selectmen are seeking candidates for the Master Plan Steering Committee. This committee will direct the development of Easton’s new comprehensive Master Plan which will lay out a detailed strategy for the town’s future. For more information, please click here.
