Easton Huskies in Tight Fight for Cranberry League's Second Place

As the Cranberry League season winds down, the Easton Huskies can't afford too many slip-ups if they want to be one of the two teams going to the Stan Musial Tournament Regionals.

The Braintree White Sox can start getting their team ready for the postseason. At 21-1 record, the White Sox are 16 point lead over the second place Weymouth Phillies at 13-9 with 26. (Each team gets two points for a win and one for a tie.) The Canton A's are in third place with a 12-8 record and 24 points. Canton has also played two less games than the Phillies.
Easton will be playing Weymouth at Frothingham Park Tuesday at 6 p.m

The Huskies are one game back at 11-9 with 22 points with four games left to play.
Here's the second place contenders' games the rest of the way.

Thursday, July 18: at Kingston, 6 p.m,
Sunday, July 21: Easton at Canton (DH) 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Weymouth Phillies:

Thursday, July 18: at Rockland, 7:30 p.m.
Canton A's:
Wednesday, July 17: Rockland, 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 21: Easton, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
